About

Peter Roworth has had a life-long career in conservation, managing nature reserves for various organisations. His photographs have been used to illustrate talks, exhibitions, displays and web sites. Many have been published in magazines, leaflets and books.

The chance opportunity of a commission to provide photographs for the book Enjoying the Humberhead Levels led to further photographic books, co-authored with his wife, depicting landscape and architecture in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire, published by Halsgrove.

Currently Peter is interested in the finer detail of landscape, trying to find and portray the more intriguing aspects of light, texture and pattern.

He is a Fellow of The Royal Photographic Society.
